Dinner & Discussion
Each month we offer a support night we like to call Dinner & Discussion. The Dinner is offered in a private home to maintain privacy. Members each bring a dish to share.
This is NOT facilitated by a counselor. It is just a discussion among our members about what it is like to live with an STD. Those who have had the disease for years can offer advice based on their personal experience.
Information from organizations such as the American Social Health Association and the Center for Disease Control will be available for those who would like to learn more about the disease itself.
Contact Us to find out the dates & locations of our next Dinner & Discussion.
Personal Support
The moderators of our group are available to meet with you if you need support. Please contact us if you need to talk or have questions about our group, living with “H” or dating with “H” etc.
Online Forum Support
The Colorado H Friends online community is run by people who understand the issues facing people with STD’s, because we live with them too. We’ve made the site very private and discreet, with a simple screening process to join.
On the site we have a forum for discussion and education. The forum introduces a variety of topics about dating and living with the disease. Although we cannot answer specific medical questions, we can offer support on lifestyle, dating and coping with the stress of diagnosis.*
In the future we hope to create a referral network of health & wellness practitioners who specialize in STD- related illnesses.
Join Us on the website for a discreet way to get the answers you are looking for.
* We are not healthcare professionals. Please consult your medical practitioner or licensed counselor for any diagnostic or health related questions.
